NK Casting is coming in for an audition session on Thursday 14th August from 1pm - 3pm. Students involved will miss out on part of their lunch time and assembly. 

If you're keen for your child to audition, please let the office know (it will be presumed you are happy for your child to be filmed unless stated).

Message from NK Casting: My name is Natano Keni, Casting Director at NK Casting. We're currently casting a major local feature film directed by award-winning filmmaker Mark Albiston (Shopping, starring Julian Denison) and produced by Sweetshop Entertainment.

This coming-of-age road trip film is set to shoot later this year or in 2026, and we’re running a nationwide search to find three young leads.

Who we need to see:

Girls in Years 3-5 (New Zealand European presenting)

Boys in Years 7 & 8 (Open ethnicity)

No acting experience is needed—we’re looking for natural, relatable personalities.

What’s involved:

2-hour session of games and group activities (at your school), filmed scenarios for those who are chosen (no prep needed).

Filming will take place during the session - so it'll be good to get an indication of those that do not want to feature.

This is a final reminder - we are looking for more nominations so please consider joining our Board. If you can't make it in to school before 12pm tomorrow, you are welcome to email your nomination through to the office (even a picture will suffice if scanning isn't easy).
